25% of H1B Visas to US Issued in Chennai Consulate

Its always good to know some interesting stats about US consulate and number of visa issued in each consulate. Looks like 25% of H1B Visa to US is issued in Chennai Consulate. This story was reported in WSJ. Every year 85,000 H1B visa is the quota limit including general and advanced degree cap.
25% of H1B Quota
25% of 85,000 is about 21,250. So much H1B visas issued from Chennai consulate amazing. This shows the number of people coming to US on H1B who live in states surrounding US consulate in Chennai. Even though H1B Visa stamping can be obtained in any consulate under emergency visa appointment provisions, most of them usually prefer to get Visa stamped in the consulate close to their home town.
So, most of the 25% should come from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. This number will certainly decrease, when US consulate in Hyderabad starts issuing H1B Visa. They have already started processing US Visas but no information if H1B is issued. Now I have question to the readers – How many percentage of that 25% would come from above 4 states? How many US consulate are there in INDIA?
Can we now say that most of the H1Bs goes to the INDIANS?
I would say about 25% of all applicants are from Andhra or are Telugu speakers, considering that they also go to other consulates.
I would be interested to know how may H1b visas issued at London Embassy as that is where we would have to go. Tried for last 2 years with 1 application with 1 company for 1 actual job. Hopefully 3rd time works out.
