By HSB

Readers following Happy Schools Blog will certainly know the value of reading blogs that will have  impact directly in their life. I was chatting with couple of students who recently graduated and struggling to find jobs. One important thing I noticed – they have no clue on how to conduct a  job search. Applying in mass with resume that has so many mistakes  will never get a job or even job interview call. If you want to master the job search techniques, you will have to read the following job search blogs.

  1. Career Hub
  2. Brazen Careerist
  3. Punk Rock HR
  4. Jibber Jobber
  5. Hiring Technical People
  6. Monster Blog
  7. Personal Branding Blog
  8. Secrets of Job Hunt

Now you know some of top job search blogs. Just visitng above blogs is not enough, you will have to spend time implementing the ideas you learn. If you read some new job search tip, instead of ignoring the idea, try implementing the new idea. You never know which jov job search approach will get you interview call. Just applying in mass and in random to job search websites will not get you a job n this economy.

Thank you,I’ll also recommend for another books blog.

  2. As one of the bloggers on the Personal Branding Blog, I’ll also mention my own blog for job search advice – JobMob at http://jobmob.co.il/. Although based in Israel and containing some articles with an Israeli focus, most of the articles apply to everyone.

I’ll also recommend Jobacle above, another good job blog.

  3. I just wanted to throw in another site. jobacle.com/blog is a job and career blog and they also have a podcast that covers a lot of things that are work related.

You and your readers might also find some value in the latest episode of my video show The Web Mix over at thewebmix.com. This episode is all about job and career resources. Jobacle was one of the sites that I featured in this episode.

Thanks for including the JibberJobber blog in this list – it’s been fun to write ideas for the last almost-three-years.

That’s a nice list of blogs you have there. I think my favorite among those is Career Hub.
