GRE score is considered for PhD admissions in most of the universities. I suggest you browse through the respective department websites to confirm this and also identify some faculty members with whom you could work and write to them. Some of them might respond but do not expect them to guarantee an admission. However, you will get a clear idea about their interests and the funding situation.

Hi, a suggestion, if they concern abt gre score Quans is a bit less.
But i dont think they consider GRE score for a PhD admission.

You better go for some free online consultancy or any other consultancies.

Hi

My GRE score is 1120 (verbal- 420. Quant- 700. Analytical writing -4.0). I hold an MSc degree in Biotechnology with 75.2% ( fourth position in university). I' ve got 1 research publication and 1.5 years of job experience. My PhD applications were rejected by Purdue University as well as Michigan State University. I believe that I gave a very good and honest SOP . Now my questions are
1. Is my score good enough to get admission in top 60 universities?
2. Which University you'll suggest for me wnen I apply for the spring admission? I wish to apply for PhD in molecular biology
( plant/ environmental).

Thanks.

Aswathy.
