It depend on the University you are planning to apply. Total TOEFL score is that counts. Credits from your home country will not help you here. What is your Visa status? Check with the Universities you are planning to apply about TOEFL requirements and residency requirements.

Hello,

Currently I am in US and given the toefl, I got very less score of 55. But I got 23- speaking, 17- writing and also hold residency status of more than 12 months. Also have some credits in Masters degree in my home country?Can I get admission with these requirements or do I need to retake the test again.

you have posted the same message twice
your score both in GRE & TOEFL are encouraging score
if you really serious you should re write both
as per universities concerned
you can search in google
take some time to gather information which you need
no body will provide what you need

most universities require 80 and above..
