Can I still get H1B Visa Approval?

2 Weeks into May and those who have applied for H1B Visa are still waiting to hear for the lottery results. Last 3 days, there have been many comments about their status of H1B Visa.
I guess many of us are waiting to know the results for lottery process. Also my employer has applied for me on 1st Apr, but still no information from him!
I have applied for H1B Visa . When i will get the result .
My petition was filed on April 6th in Masters cap under premium processing. My lawyer still did not receive the receipt number from USCIS. Are there still chances for positive response? Can you give me an idea how long it may take?
I applied for h1b through a us company . i didn’t receive any feedback . i will ask him, so he told me it will take a time and actual picture come in a month of July . My question what he is telling is correct or not ?
According to USCIS, they will try to send all the H1B Receipt Number before June 2. So, there is still time to know the status. Few of my friends who have applied through regular processing have received the receipt numbers. So, keep your fingers crossed and be positive.

i have a approval of h1b but still in may month i am able to get a visa its a sutable for me about getting visa

My consulate interview was on 11th Dec. And I got 221(g) form. And i have to submit require Documents. But In 221(g) form they have require internal project descrtiption and client letter both. And my project is on Internal based. And i have no client side any letter.. So is this a problem for Getting Visa or not? please reply me..
Sam, yes it is possible. I have got my receipt no. but still waiting for the approval. The status is still “Case received and Pending”.

I filed my H1 B with a consulting company before April 1st 2008 and they told me they filed it. The company told me I was selected but they haven’t received my approval letter. I told them to proof to me by showing me the EAC receipt but they wouldn’t. My question is ” Is it possible to still have an application pending as at today date Dec. 8th 2008? Or the company just played me………
I applied for h1b and aloso received my EAc no.Now my current status is “response to request for evidence received,ur case is resumed”

Tough questions to answer. But, I don’t see any reason why you both shouldn’t appear together. In any case they are going to ask the required questions to both of you. Again, its upto you.

Yes, certainly you both can apply , but it has to be filed next year April.

Oct 1st is when you are eligible to work if H1B is approved. But, they can approve H1B to start from OCt 10 or any time. If they are not satisfied with the documents, H1b can be rejected too. As I said, its all in USCIS hands and information you have submitted.

As far I know there is no time limit on when USCIS can respond to your RFE. There are few readers in the blog who have been waiting to hear back about RFE for last 2 months.

My online status for h1b says ” RFE received and case processing has resumed” This status was changed on 9th sept. After that there is no response yet. It has been over 2 weeks now.

After you receive your EAC # you can go to http://www.uscis.gov and check the status of your case online.
