My GRE score is 1090 quant 650 and verbal 440 i wish to go for MS in MIS, my GPA is 3.1, TOEFL yet to appear…please suugest some suitable universities…..SHALL I TAKE GRE AGAIN????
HOW DOES TEACHING EXPIERENCE AFFECTS DURING MS, I HAVE RECENTLY JOINED A COLLAGE FOR TEACHING UNDERGRADUATES..TILL APPLICATION MY EXPIERENCE WILL BE JST 1-2 MONTHS BUT TILL MY JOINING TO ANY UNIVERSITY I.E TILL NEXT FALL IT WILL BE AROUND 6-8 MONTHS……..PLEASE TELL ME ITS CONSEQUENCES????

This is amazing blog and loads up with lot of information
everyone is saying about the MS studies here but I want to do PG diploma for 1 year in USA, since i can’t pay that much of money for MS or MBA, i can’t show that much of money in bank statement, iam not having strong financiall backround hence i decided to do 1 year diploma or even small courses and i have 1and1/2 year experience in IT industry hence i need advice how to move ahead with this.
I have filled in a wrong start date for one of my employment in my resume, but have filled in the correct start date in the Employment History of the online MBA application form. I know this a big blunder. As per the application policy of the school, no changes can be made after the application form has been submitted online. How can I rectify this now? Shall I write a mail to the school or should I inform the admissions committee if called for an interview, at the time of the interview? Please help.

Just taken the GRE Test,Score was 1030.Planning to take it again.I was a bit nervous that day & I guess few of my pattern of study should be changed.
What do you suggest by 1.5 month can it improve if I appear it by mid OCtober.
Which score will ETS report…is it the higher one or both???

1.Planning to do ms in electrical engineering is fine or i should be more specific in my subject to get a better job after my ms because i have to get one according to my financial condition.
2.I suppose october is the ripe time to appear for gre so that i can get apply for scholarship.isnt it??
3.Do they give scholarship only on tuition fees or hostel also???
Hi I have got admits from 2 universities(University of texas, arlington and University of north carolina charlotte)in Electrical engineering. I would like to know which one would be best for EE. I am also expecting an admit from University of oklahoma, norman. Can you pls suggest me the best place to go for EE in these 3 Universities.
in financial statement for applying for u.s universities,is there any condition like certain amount should be cash?if yes how much cash should we show?
my parents have 10 lacks cash.we have agriculture land and other properties worth around 30lacs..is that enough to get admission?
plz help me in this..

My Employer applied for my H1B Visa for the position of Cost Estimator (with a Cost Consulting Company)by April 2008. My petition was selected in the draw and it was notified to me by May 2008. I received all documents from my attorney for applying for entry visa interview in US Consulate by August 2008. When I appeared for H1B entry visa interview all documents produced by me were verified and in addition they asked me to produce my Employer’s W2 documents and Staff Wage Reports. I later produced them also. I was very positive that I’ll get approval. But by December 2008 I received an email from the US Consulate where I appeared for the visa as follows:
“Our records indicate that the nonimmigrant visa petition mentioned in your inquiry is in the process of being sent to the Consular Center to be returned to the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS), where it was originally filed. Based on indications that this case contains information that requires further review by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service (BCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), we are returning the petition. Under Section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which addresses the confidentiality of the visa records, we are unable to provide any further details. For inquiries regarding this petition, please contact the BCIS office, once the petition has been returned. We are unable to predict the time required to complete this process”
I forwarded the above email to my attorney. But no further development till date. Will there be possibilities of Visa Denial at BCIS? Any chances of approval at BCIS? What should I do now for further follow-up? Please advise me.

i have planning to m.s in telecommunication in u.s, i have 62% in B.E..and my sister is in U.S.A and she will sponser me …can u say it may cause some promblem in visa interview ?…because university i plan to apply is placed near to my sister’s home….can somebody help me then only i can take forward step…please reply me soon

ets will report both the scores out of which the university will take the best.
some (very few) calculate the average scores.
