F1 Visa Interview – Annual Inome Requirements

Raghuram Sukumar —  May 22, 2012 — 5 Comments

Hi all, I would like to know is it compulsory to show a annual family income between 8 to 10 lac in the CA certificate that we take for the Visa interview.

My father is sponsoring me (apart from the scholarship) and i have substantial assets (immovable, movable and bank loan) to prove my financial capability.

Still the annual income field is necessary? Please help me out…

F1 Visa – Annual Income

You have to prove you have sufficient money to pay for expenses in USA + ties to your country.

There is no rule that you have to show 1 to 10 lakhs of annual income for F1 visa.

Since, you have stated that you have substantial property, you shouldn’t have  any problem.

  4. Hi all,
Me too would like to know how important it is to show the CA certificate if I have all the required documents to prove my financial status.
Also, is it necessary that the funds I show for both the years have to be in direct cash(liquid) or is it alright if I show in FDs.
My bank balance is sufficient to show both years and also I have received scholarship and assistant-ship which technically covers up most of the fees and living expenses.
So, what would I need to show for property assets?
