Way in which email is written, I’m not sure if this is credible experience. But, if in case this is true, we have learned something new – Visa officers have quota.
F1 Visa Rejection
my visa date is 6th july in delhi consulate……

me: gd mg sirvo: how many universts did u apply
me:told and extra i got scholor shipvo: oh great, where the place is located to ur univesrty
me: fresno
vo: plz wait 2minvo: sry sir ur visa is rejected
me: why sirvo: my protocol is like this , so plz support me and we have official limit,thats y i rejected to ur visa
can plz tell me what i do.
at 6th july i and another 65 members are coming to attend visa interview all of them rejected , all of them taken the potential immigration……can plz suggest me.

Hello all,
I don’t think there is any limit for F1 visas unlike H1-B visas (which has an annual limit of 60000 visas). Something is fishy with this interview.

Sorry about your interview.Visa denial like I always say is issued based on an individuals performance, however diplomatic or governmental relationship between your home country and the United States can also affect visa issuance for F1. I have heard cases whereby people say it is advisable to apply beginning of the month for F1, because towards the end of the month the available quota gets filled up and becomes more competitive.Lets be honest, even jobs wont accept everybody’s application even if everyone is qualified, same thing goes for F1 and same goes for admission decisions at universities,they all have limited slots. So we can not rule out the fact that his story is fake.My advise is that you give it a shot after some time.Best of luck.

As per your statements, if some one applies at month end, there is a chance of getting rejected. But this person has applied on july 6th (month start). This is not the case right !!!

You are right in doubting the veracity of this post. Maybe his GRE and TOEFL scores might have given rise to suspicion. From the way he writes, if not for ‘quota’ this applicant for would certainly have been rejected for lack of knowledge of English!
