Hello
I & my husband had an interview on 2nd July 2009 at the US Islamabad Consulate in Pakistan. I am the main applicant and my husband as H4 dependent.
We got our turn after for interview waiting for around 40-45 minutes after finger prints.
The Visa Officer said he will process the visa however he needs some documents. We were issues 221g(white form) which stated that my case has been suspended as they require more documents from the employer. They have marked around 6 documents which are required from the employer.
The Visa Officer kept our passports and my educational documents.
I spoke to my Employer and he has agreed to provide those docs to me within a week.
What I want to know is once I submit the document, what are the chances of getting the VISA? And what would be the approximate response time.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me on this matter.
Also incase If I get a denial, do you think they will cancel our B1/B2 VISA as well?

Then one of VO friend was waiting for him standing just behind him since pretty long and suddenly he realized his friend was waiting and turned the chair and started chatting with him with huge smiles and his attention got diverted...got back to my husband after 2-3 minutes....said ok......and looked at our forms very fastly.....said Ok...3-4 times....and then said to my husband I need to speak to your wife again. My husband gave the phone to my wife:
VO: Okay I am going to process your VISA however I require a couple of documents from your employer.
ME: I said Ok.
He then took a form and starting highlighting items that he wanted from my employer. Initially just marked 2 items and stopped but was looking and then marked 4-5 more items, so a total of 6-7 required documents from the employer. I already had 2 documents, but he said send all documents together. He asked us to Mail the documents through American Express.
His overall attitude was positive and friendly.
That's it.
I would really appreciate if someone can answer my questions promptly.
Regards
