thats a great news, at least you and your husband will be travelling together inshAllah, I also would like to have the number you called at to inquire about your husband's visa, We had our interview on 4rth August, shoudl we wait till end of this month then call? I got the 3 year Multiple Entry Visa
The number to call Islamabad Embassy to check your application status is:
051-2082700
Then Select options in the following sequence:
1- This will take you to their hearing in English.
3- This will take you to their Non Immigrant Visa Information
1- This is where operator will pick up. When you press 1 after the above, it would mostly say the number is busy, however when they say this they don't disconnect you instead take u right at the first step, so then follow the same number sequence and you should have your call picked up hopefully within 2-3 minutes after doing it.Hope this helps.

Fizza I think you should wait for a few days before calling them as it has just been 10 days. In Administrative processing it can take from 10 days to many years. What's the name of your husband? If it has a very common muslim name like Muhammad, Syed or anything similar, then it can take more time.
So I would recommend to wait for some time may be a week or so and then calling them to inquire your status.

Thanks for the info Ap. It's helpful, My name starts from Muhammad but I have relatively less common last name? Do you know if it maters? How do you know that people with these names are having delay problems? Do you know some of those or you got it from different forums?

My husband's name is not a common name. doesnt have Mohommad or syed,

MJ I know a person whose name starts from SYED. He was approved but case sent for administrative processing and is still waiting since last 2 years though he applied for Visitor's visa. But yes mostly read on forum about this all.
Fizza, Ali also comes as a first name for my husband. So lets see what happens, though when my husband applied for B1/B2 visa last year it was indeed approved but sent for administrative processing but got his passport clearance and got it back within 10 working days.

Hi all
Just to let you know all that we got my husband's passport back today with the VISA.
Its 3 years multiple visa, same as mine.
We noticed that it was sent for administrative processing as its written Clearance Receieved on XXX on the visa.
Hope everyone can get it !
