Start of US fiscal year 2010 is October 2009, meaning those who will be approved for 2010 H1B visa can only start working in the US on Oct 1. Since the H1B quota (65K slots) has not been met, they will continue to accept applications until the number reached the quota. Start of H1b application for fiscal year 2011 will be on April 1, 2010. Hope this helps.

it seems that the uscis is so hard on nurses.. anyone here who just got their approval and is a RN from the Philippines??/

i got also rfe also from USCi.
have any one here got petition for h1b as \nurse.
im here in usa as b2 then i etend and change my status to h1b then
one employer filled me a petition for h1b but i got rfe last july 1 and still my lawyer never get the mailed result of rfe.

pls reply on me if there is someone here with the same situation.

agency from new york sponsor me i am here as b2 status in usa i had pending cases also of b2 extension. do you think i will be approved

ive heard a lot of cases same as with your status right now and they got approved! just hang on, He will listen to our heart's desires. :) anyway, could you specifically tell me the agency in NY who sponsor you?
