I’m planning to review two of your resume and suggest changes to resume format and useful links where you can find resume examples, professional resume templates and also, guide to resume writing and other useful tips for student resume. You must be aware of that fact, resume format that is followed in India wouldn’t help you.
Most of the resume I have seen from students are very long and doesn’t have elements that will catch the employers or professors attention within first few seconds after looking at the resume.
certain fields of resume must be in certain place and they don’t have time to read through all the pages of each resume. Hope you guys will use this opportunity.

i had completed my bachelor of pharmacy with 74% aggregated,secure 80.2% in last semester,i want to study further in usa for masters,i m preparing for ilets n gre too but my maths is very poor,if i would not score good in gre i would get admission in good universities,i had also completed my diploma in pharmacy wid 73%.can u suggest me which course i should preffred for m.s clinical research or pharmacology? n ielts isaccepting in usa universities or not?anticipating for your reply

Hey I am Arun, currently employed in Bangalore. I have applied for MS in automotive engineering at University of Michigan and Clemson University. I have 2 years of related work experience. I am currently in the process of writing to profs, asking them for a research assistantship. I was wondering whether an objective was necessary?? Or will mentioning the facts suffice. Yeah I think this is the major question that everyone has on their mind when they are sending their packets. Even I have the same query.
You see it is much easier when you are applying for a specific job to write out an objective. But when you are applying to a university, I guess you have already stated your objective in your statement of purpose rite?? So is an “objective” box even necessary in such a resume??
