After you install and enable Gears, most of images, scripts, and CSS files will be stored locally on your computer. This speeds up page load time.
How to Install Google Gears
- Download Gears from the Gears homepage.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Restart your browser. Gears won’t be usable until your browser has been restarted.
