HSB, i admire the work you all had done for all the students across the globe. you guys have put an effort on helping students like us, so i would like to thank you all.I appeared in GRE yesterday but scored 1000 only. I was hoping for score around 1200 but couldn’t. so is there any chances of me getting in grads school in US. i have a GPA of 3.6 in BSC Biotechnology and wanted to apply for MS in biological science. could you please provide me with information about what should i do?.

Low GRE and Admission

  • Consider taking GRE again.
  • 1000 in GRE is low score.
  • You can get admit, but not in schools you expected to study.

Here is a list of universities for low GRE Scores. You have to remember that chances of getting F1 visa will also tough with low GRE score of 1000.

    GRE 291 (verbal-141/quant -150)
    IELTS- 6.5
    10th- 72.3%
    12th-90%
    B.tech/BioInformatics-79.4%
    currently working in Cognizant (16 months)
    job role- Jr.Business Analyst

    i want to do my MBA (U.S.A)
    plz help me
    regarding university selection

    Hello,
    I just gave the GRE general test today and scored a 1160:
    verbal : 380
    quants: 780

    Do i have any realistic chances of getting into any US universities for MS in computer science(computer programming). Please state the universities I should send my GRE scores to.

    here are my details

    * GRE Score – 1040(730Q + 310V)

    * TOEFL Score – yet to Take on Dec 2011, hope to get >90

    * Class 10th – 69.05%

    * Class 12th – 73.52%

    * Engineering Aggregate – 72.5% (up to III year and 2 sem left and with 4 backlogs)

    * Semester Planning to Apply – fall 2012

    * Department and Major – Electronics&Communication, planning to go for MIS/MS in VLSI or EMBEDDED SYSTEM or TELECOMMUNICATIONS

    * Work Experience – NIL

    please let me know the good Univs which I can apply for my score.also please suggset me more universities since i would like to do my major in electrical engineering and with full financial aid low cost of living and job facilities. and I am adaptable to any climate

    Also looking for a budget which is not more then 20 lakhs. In a state to take bank loan
