Revised GRE Score Conversion table is now available. Revised GRE score range will change from 130 to 170 in Revised GRE. Lets look at GRE score range comparison between 2 Revised GRE and Old GRE formats.
Revised GRE Score Range
- GRE Verbal scores – 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments
- Quantitative Reasoning scores – 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments
- Analytical Writing scores – Same 0–6 score scale, in half-point increments
Old GRE Score Range
Three scores are reported in current GRE format
- GRE Verbal score range : 200 – 800 score scale, in 10-point increments
- GRE Quantitative score range : 200 – 800 score scale in 10-point increments
- Analytical Writing score range: 0 – 6 score scale in half-point increments
Revised GRE Score Conversion
There will be GRE test takers who have appeared in old GRE format. Those testtakers have to perform revised GRE score conversion.

I am in my final year of under graduation. I plan to apply for my masters in the year 2013 but i plan to give my GRE in September 2011 since i have time to prepare well.
Since i will be using my scores two-three years later is it advisable to appear for the Revised GRE test or the current test?
