What is GRE?
Prospective graduate and business school students can take GRE. test. Schools require GRE test to evaluate applicants for Graduate school admission. GRE General Test provides a common measure for comparing candidates’ qualifications.

Currently m working with LnT Infotech,India. I have completed one year with the Company and am planning for MS in USA next year. I will be having a 2 year Work ex in this company by the end of october next month.I haven't appeared for the GRE yet. How much time will it need to prepare for GRE so that i can get a gud score(1300+). i am not at all gud with my Verbal. Is GRE score a factor for getting scholarships in US universities??

I am a second year civil engineering UG student.I want to know when is the right time to start preparing for GRE .Also I heard that doing projects are must for GRE?Is it true?
Hey since the Gre format is changing from next year August, Its better you start preparing right away and give it in this format , also if you think you're falling short of preparation time you can give the exam in the new format later, but dont miss giving it in the original format, as the new format has many cons,the new format falls short of many things so start ur prep immediately and book ur date for giving the Gre before August 2011…!!!

you dont need to re take GRE. your score is superb!! trust me only 1500 doesnt gets you through, my cousin is in stanford this year with a 1330, no such special achievements, so go with this score i must say..U'll get admission easily

Working and topped training in a top IT company for the entire batch they had recruited (have a certificate for that). Also got 1st prize for Debugging and 3rd prize in Quiz in a National Level Competition. Besides have won prizes in multiple fields ranging from Science and maths to essays, debates and even Sanskrit competitions!!! However have no research experience but implemented academic and industry level projects. Which US universities can I practically target for an MS in CS??

Hello.. I took the GRE general test in April and got a score of 850. The break up is 390 in Verbal and 460 in Quant. I retook the test in August and got 1180..550 Verbal and 630 in Quant. I’m really worried about the Grad schools taking the average of both the scores.. or do they just consider the latest one? Please reply.. I’m looking for a Master’s program in Life Sciences..

hi i am planning to do my ms in the usa but my 10th and +2 scores are low(59% and 54% respectively )and i have an aggregate of 65% in BE if i score above 1100 in GRE will i be able to get into a good university will they take in to account my 10+2 marks plz help
i had given GRE exam on 15 sep and i got 920 in it.Maths-610 and Verbal-310.
is it heavy penality for not attending last two question of maths in it?One thing i want to ask if I retake GRE exam in if i got 1250 in it.So which score would be in Consideration?

hi, i have earlier taken gre and got a score of 940 and have had admits from two universites.However i did not get the desired university because of my gre score.i am applying again for fall 2011 to the same universities i applied earlier and am planning to give my gre nov 1st week.i will also be sending in my applications during nov 1st week.my question is once they receive my application,and still haven't received my new gre scores,will they review my application with the old gre score that is on the file and then reject again? it will take atleast a month for the gre scores to reach them,and they wouldn't know that i have written the gre again and then judge my application based on my old scores.Please help….

I have a very quick question to ask… My sister is planning to persue her masters in US and she plans to apply for next fall i.e Fall 2011. she will finish her B.Sc in may 2011. Now since B.Sc is just for three years ,is she eligble to apply. Some of my friends told that now universities accepted B.Sc students but I still want to confirm. She is doing her B.Sc in Microbiology from DU.

I recently gave my GRE on 16th September. Unfortunately, I got only Quant-690 and Verbal-430. Total-1120. I plan to pursue my masters in Electronics and Communication Engineering in United States. Can you suggest me some options that would suit my score? Also, Can I get admission for the MS Program in Northeastern University for Communication Engineering. what are the prospects of me getting into these universities.Should i continue processing my application package with these univ or should i reconsider them.Kindy suggest me a few more univ with the same field of study.I have no intention of giving my gre for the second time.
