H1B 2010 – Cap Count Update News – July 3, 2009

Previous UpdateH1B 2010 – Cap Count Update – June 24, 2009. USCIS have published the latest cap count for July 3, 2009.

As of July 3, 2009 approximately 45,000 H-1B cap-subject petitions and approximately 20,000 petitions qualifying for the advanced degree cap exemption had been filed. USCIS will continue to accept both cap-subject petitions and advanced degree petitions until a sufficient number of H-1B petitions have been received to reach the statutory limits, taking into account the fact that some of these petitions may be denied, revoked, or withdrawn.

    Hai,
    I have applied for my h1b visa on April 1st and got my receipt number but I still didn’t get the approval notice. today when I checked the status online it showed “request for initial evidence sent, case placed on hold” what does this mean? Anyone got the similar post. Will I get my H1B approved
