Hello HSB,
I am a frequent visitor of HSB. I am now in US on H1B. I got a lot of update and very thankful to HSB.
I have a question regarding a topic which may not be related to HSB. Please help if you have any info.
I have a new born baby. He is a week old and he is born in India. I need to apply for a passport for him. My wife stays in india. I heard both parents passport is needed for applying for the baby's passport. But I have my passport in USA with me. Can you please give some suggestion or info other than having to go back to India.
Thank you in advance

I would appreciate if you can send me a write-up of your experience/process to get passport for your child. I can post in the blog (without your name). It will help others in your situation. Thanks.
Check Section (H) to get affidavit. http://www.indianembassy.org/miscellaneous-servic…
