Here is a comment from Ashoka posted at H1B Visa 2013

Anyone read about $1700 increase in the H1B visa fees for FY 2013? I wonder what would be the total cost now. $7000 including everything for a regular petition (without premium)?

Is this expected to keep the CAP open a little bit longer? Any predictions till when?
