By HSB

What to expect for H1B Visa 2011 Season? Even though current H1B Visa Cap is available, there are many are hesitant to apply for H-1B Visa. If job market continues to improve, do we have lottery for H1B Visa 2011?

H1B Visa Quota – 2011

USCIS is taking time in approving H1B  Visa petitions due to fraud activities while submitting the petition for approval. Consulting companies are asked to produce project related details from the Clients. Because of this, so many consulting firms are not ready to apply for H1b visa. There are many comments asking for H1B Visa sponsors ( or consulting companies), but they are not realizing that finding job will be very tough.

It was completely different scenarios over last 2 years, but things can get back to those level for H1B Visa 2011 season if financial market turns around. April 2010 is many months away, but students planning to graduate in Dec 2009 will be looking forward to apply for H1b Visa next year.

We never know, current year cap could be available till December this year. If job market picks up and when employers start hiring and companies start spending for IT, then number of applications submitted on April 1, 2010 will definitely more than this year.

  • USCIS cracking down on H1B Fraud
  • Employers hiring H1B Workers
  • Job Market improves

What if above scenario occurs for H1B Visa 2010 season? It will be be very interesting season to follow.
