October 7, 2008 by Raghu
Hello everyone, there are many readers who are following H1b Visa approval results and few are still waiting to get H1B Visa approval. I have 3 questions to you.
1) Did you pay for your H1B Visa processing?
2) How much did you pay?
3) Did you have to sign any type of contract with your employer?
I’m just curious to know how many have paid for H1B processing. Leave a comment to this article.

I have paid 3155 dollars as Visa fee, Attorney fee and Credential Evaluation fee. USCIS sent Denial Decision Notice saying that my employer is inelgible and Computer System Administrator position is not a speciality occupation. What are the options available to me now? My employer told that he will file an appeal petition which in the Attorney’s opinion have bleak chance. Can I get back my money? What shall I do?
@Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya: They should refund you the H1B filing fees and atleast half of attorney fees.
Under H1B law, the hiring company is supposed to pay 100% of the H1B related expenses (lawyer, filing fees, etc…). This means that the hiring company should refund you up to the last centavo you spent for the H1B filing. Good luck!
