H1B Visa Lottery Results Updates

in H1B Visa

June 2 was the deadline set by USCIS to send all the receipt number to H1B Visa applications selected in the lottery. It was D-Day for many H1B Visa Applicants who are still waiting to hear about their H1B Visa Lottery result. But, so many comments in the articles in this blog say different story.

  1. Majority of the applications filed under Premium Processing heard about their results
  2. H1B Visa applications submitted in Regular processing results are not 100% available
  3. Some of the check have been cleared, indicates their H1B applications have been selected in lottery
  4. But, those checks that have been cashed by USCIS are yet to get the Receipt Number
  5. No one has received any rejection notice so far.

From above view, I certainly feel, USCIS have not completed processing of all applications selected under Lottery. If they were to process all the applications that were selected in H1B Visa Lottery, then those applications should have received their Receipt Number. So, we have to wait for 2-3 more week to know whats the status of H1B lottery results. If I come across other information, I will pass it along.

Hi!
I am on F-1 visa and enrolled in a PhD programme.
I am planning to marry in Jan and bring my wife along when I come back in Feb. I would be very grateful if you could give me some related info >

1. I am short by about $500/year from the available funds required to support one dependent as per the requiremnt by International Office at my office to issue an I-20 for my spouse. I get a TA assistanship from my University. This is the only fund I have.
I offered the Int. Off. to show them my bank statement for the last 3 months, which is over $6000. But, they refused.
What are my options?

2. I am expecting some additional fund, though little, from my univ )NOT CERTAIN). So, I may be able to fulfill the fund requirement conditions for I-20 for my spouse.

Now, after I get the I-20 with the total necessary fund (Though just enough) coming from my Univ., do I still need to show my bank balances in order to secure a Visa.

3. What are the other suggestions you have for me?

Please, respond ASAP.

Thanks,

Vivek

Google is claiming that they did not get 90 visas. How can they be sure?

“As for Google, this year we submitted 300 H-1B applications, and we’re sorry to report that 90 hopefuls were denied.”
