Letter from Client, Tax statements, Electricity Bill, Drivers License and all degree certificates
- Can you walk us through about steps and experience at US Consulate ( arriving at consulate, waiting before interview, documents verification,…)
Reached consulate before an hour 
but sent back immediately. My 2cents don’t go early to the consulate. 15 mins before the schedule time is good enough.
Don’t take any sealed envelops. Security person will stamp all envelops this will take some time. No cell phones not even chocolates or Chewing Gums
There are pre-screening counters where they check all your documents(I-797, LCA) if everything is satisfactory then you will be directed towards visa interview room

Easy. One question – Where do you work?

I finished my Masters in USA, got my H1B and started working for past 4 yrs. I didn’t get a chance to go to India for my first stamping. Now I am planning to go for stamping to India. Will there be any problem in my First time stamping for my H1B after 4 yrs of getting my H1B…I have the H1B extension documents too…
Pls help me with your suggestion…is there any one have come across the same situation…

I’m living in Texas and that’s the closest consulate for my, but I had read that they are acepting third country nationals just to get their visa renewed.. Can somebody help me??

Are you in the USA right now? Did you get your H1B visa stamped and then entered the USA? I had emailed the US consulate in Mumbai and they said that you can come anytime for the H1B visa stamping but can only enter the USA 10 days before 1st October 2009.
