Maybe they should state clearly that if you are from particular country, have a specific name, or religion. Do not apply. But then, where would they generate revenue from. I've seen plenty of cases that took a few months. In the worst case, involving a man from a middle eastern country, he waited in London for over a year. It's extremely difficult for everyone involved - the applicant, his/her family, and the employer.
