Can you suggest what new features you like to see in the blog?

Btw how much liberty do you have to add new features in this website since its owned by WordPress? i had an idea of bookmarking my favourite articles so that i can see them collectively whenever required. i think some features are must like bookmarking the favorite article, liking it (right in this site, not on fb), search articlebase using a keyword, and creating a group within this site for instance “Vtech fall 2013 admits” etc etc. what do u think ? do u have such plans in the near future?

You can put a Quick-slider to attract people. U can put some important photos about GRE Prep, Application Process-Image, things to pack in a suitcase etc., (For all these words, you have images in your posts).
This can attract more visitors !!!

Can you be specific about photos and images?
Right now ur site is not attractive and much user friendly.
1. For starters, please can you reduce the “headings” font size to 60% of the existing size so that more articles can be seen on less scrolling? existing font size is good for kids and & very old ppl having vision related problems. also, try to fit headings in just one line, it saves huge space.
2. you can also reduce the partial display content of an article by 0.5, it will look web page with enough content to stop by.
3. also, reduce the size of tabs at the top panel. bolden the tab names, reduce the box size of “Post by Raguram Sukumar 14 comments” box.
4. u can remove google custom search box if very less ppl use it.
5. Use last blank tab at the top console panel link, for “groups”many ppl dont know whether there are groups.
cause 2. i mean the content’s font size by 0.5, not the content itself.
I think you should start introducing pages for univ for which more students go
Like Fall 2013 JHU page where all the students can interact in that forum or page…and I think you should encourage people to post their Admits and rejects and profile
A forums? I think you should put forums too..
I have had forums for last 4 months.
This types of forums are not good.. Try using IPB forums..
If you gonna get it re-designed that would be awesome! in addition to my precious suggestions,
you can design sort of facebooklike interface. individual profile with unique features and articles feed at the centre. left side for Quick access of essential features. top above a console havine settings etc and right side for advts!
1. bookmarks (catagories: profiles, Universities, articles)
2. Chat tool (if you are fine with letting members interact with eachother, i am not sure about it though.)
3. Search database using a keyword.
4. Individual profile (a complete academic profile with TOEFL/GRE/GMAT scores, GPA, applied universities, accepts/rejects etc etc with some mandatory sections)
5. very important feature: Yahoo groups like message board where one can create threads (may be limited thread headings allowed by you like Fall 2013, VTech admits, NYU admits etc. if you introduce this feature ppl will be glued to this site.its the single most feature that made yahoo groups popular, unfortunately FB doesnt have right interface)
6. Shared files section where one can upload sample SOPs, Wordlists, important material in pdf/word format.
7. Videos section where all videos
