@stbill
why dont you believe it is because that you are obtuse you have been out of a job half your life or whatever. that is a kind of reason why they encourage foreign nationals to work in the USA as without skilled labor (and not cheap labor as you mention), the car you drive in or the computer on which you are reading this message wouldnt have been so. so, take it easy man. it is all for the good of the people. work hard.

And the CEO's of this country aren't going to scream. They are well aware of what they are doing, unlike you who have been jobless in analysing such misleading facts. remember, that is why they are CEO's and they deserve to be there.

Oh wait, do you know why you need to take loans? you cannot compete with smarter people than you to win a scholarship. blame yourself fellow, not the country or its policies.

This law will allow all the dependents to get In-state tuition fee. Some states already allow H1B Visa holders (and H4) to take part time enrollment in school with In-State fee.

So I, an American citizen, was denied in-state tuition several years ago after I had already lived in the state more than three years. I then had to wait until I turned 23 and legally emancipated from my parents before being awarded with in-state status and the tuition rate I could afford without selling myself out to the 'US Student Loan' slavery-for-life system.

Of course, what the hell was the point in obtaining it, working my ass off for 5 years of engineering courses and part time jobs, in order to finally graduate without too much debt and a Computer Science major? The country has been flooded with H1B and other cheap laborers, mostly from India and Eastern Europe, such that I've been unemployed for at least half of my 4 year engineering career.

My last hope was moving here to the DC area and getting in with the big military and government contractors as it appears most of these jobs cannot be given to non-citizens.

I'm not holding my breath though - corporate America knows that the uneducated mass of Americans are too stupid to notice when millions of their jobs are being sold out, along with their once-great nation and all its assets. At least American Idol is on!

For any future college students - don't even think about going into a field like engineering or science. The CEO's of this country will scream how they need you, but it is just an excuse in order to get Congress to allow more slaves to enter the country and work for a pittance. Taking out loans for a college degree is the absolutely worst thing you can do.
