India’s Four Major Problems – Simple and Complicated

The Agonist author of the article Reflection on India writes about this his views on why is India is a mess. He also adds

I must preface this post with a clear warning: you are not going to like what I have to say. My criticisms may be very hard to stomach. But consider them as the hard words and loving advice of a good friend.

He opens the article as follows

India is a mess. It’s that simple, but it’s also quite complicated. I’ll start with what I think are India’s four major problems–the four most preventing India from becoming a developing nation–and then move to some of the ancillary ones.

Interesting article to read once! But just once.
I guess there were many point/issues in the article which are exaggerated or mere assumptions.

Still something can be extracted from it: ‘Yes, India has problems & hardly few of them are in anyone’s (political parties) election campaign this year!
