   Hi my name is vijay.
   I have got admits in to Texas Tech univ and Kansas State univ for MS Civil Engg for fall 2008.
   Which is better to go considering all aspects like Funding senerio of dept,Visa success rate,Part time jobs etc.
   Please give me ur suggestion.
   I am waiting for ur kind reply.

   I will go for F1 visa in may 2008.
   I am seeing articles.But I can’t find out about visa tips and some experiences.
   Please send the posts regarding F1 visa.
   Now its time to discuss about visa.

   @Vijay,

   Search for F1 Visa in the search text box. I do have some 10 articles about F1 Visa. Also, you can check within Visa Category under Index Page. I will make sure to write few more articles about F1 Visa Tips.

   Hi Vijay…congrats on ur getting chance 2 the US univs!!…it will help me a lot if u can kindly assist me with my admins….actually i need to get admitted to kansas state univ for MS Cmp Sc.. can u please tell me how much u scored in GRE..n is it hard to get admitted to KSU?? …as u can find am desperately willing to get admitted to KSU….it will be really nice if u reply…. n more helpful if u mail me at das.sanchita@gmail.com

   well is scored 990 in gre .690 in quant and 300 in verbal..
   plz help ..which good university will accept my gre score.

   @Jaya,
   Your GRE score is very low…I dont know how things will work out for u..there are few universities like Ball state univ, Kansas, Missisipi univ like that….Mine was 1440(v640,Q800,AWT 5.5)…better to go for higher study in india

   @ Jaya : You can apply for universities. I have seen students even with lower score get admission and come to U.S. So, you can give it a try. Apply for 4-5 Universities thats accepts score less then 1000. there are many universities that accepts lower GRE score. Agian, GRE score is not the only facotr that will be considered for admission.     hi all
    gave muh GRE on da 9th got a score of 1390 790 quants and 600 in verbal what are muh chances???what universities should i appply to??what i really wanted to know about is da scholarship issue?what criterion do they look into for providing scholarship??plus i have a CGPA of 7.53 in computer science and engineering wid two years still left help me out guys….

    @sindhuja: See if you give it another try after 3 months, if you are applying for Fall 2009, you have time till Jan end to apply.

    i am megha, completed masters in biotechnology from india, presently studying masters in environmental sciences. my only question is it necessary to write GRE for admission into Phd in toxicology after completion of the resent course?

    hi i just wanted to know if there is anybody who can give me info. on Universities that accept GRE scores<1000(less then 1000) i just sat my GRE’s and the results were below par…..but this was due to some problems i encountered at teh testing centre..pliz help

    @John: What major do you plan to apply? If its CS then GRE Score less than 1000 is not enough.

    Hi,

    My GRE scores are 1060 (V 320 and Q 740). My CGPA is 3.75/4.0 and I have 4 publications. My major is in Industrial and Production Engineering.

    Can you please suggest me which universities I need to apply for MS in US?

    @nishanth: If your credentials have about the average GRE scores of the universities and department, with good documents, you should be ok.

    Portland State University’s Mathematics MS doesn’t even require a GRE score. Many of our Masters students then go on to PhD’s at good schools.

    Hi I am anusha….I am interested to do MS in Biotechnology or genetics or in immunology in US during spring admissions.My gre score is 950,370 in verbal and 580 in quant…3.5 in AWA……I request you to give me the universities in which i am eligible to get into based on my score…..

    inter % is 80
    engineering(Btech) % is 65 yet to complete my 4th year
    gre score < 900
    can u plz tell me which university can i be able to opt for my MS

    @sandeep reddy:

    I wouldn’t suggest applying got engineering program for GRE Score less than 1000. you might get admit, but Visa is not sure.

    have gre score of Verbal 290 and Quantitative 620 and IELTS 6.0 Therefore please recommend me which university would accept my application on environmental science.     730 quant +290 verbal ..
    10th ICSC 79%
    12th ISC 83 %
    engineering 68%

    @sruthi:

    I don’t think you can find universities that will still accept application for Spring 2009. You can try Summer 2009, which starts in May 2009.

    Hi All,
    I am planning to take GRE+TOEFL by the coming January.
    Expecting score of: 750 Q + 500 V = 1250 (average)
    I want to study MSc in computer security.
    what are the things I want to do regarding Admission?
    Should I start applying from now onwards (Remember: I want to start MSc in the Fall of 2009 in USA)

    My name is Anveeksh.

    I got 1140 in GRE, 73/120 in toefl.
    10th—–78%,
    Inter—–96.3%,
    B.tech—82.1%.
    I am doing my final year B.tech in Mechanical.
    I am also acquainted with 6 national level paper contests.

    Please tell me which US universities i can expect with provision of aid.
    I hailing from a poor background, need universities that provide aid.

    some extra curricular activity certificates……….plz tell me wether i can get admission for MS(life science)…i am afraid whether there will any problem with visa for this gre score…..plz reply me…..
