Write to the Professor stating you interested in applying for Phd along with your CV…… In CV describe objectives, grades and experience as succinctly as possible.. If you have not given GRE ask the professor what would be a necessary score….if the professor likes your profile he will reply

Hello Sir
Firstly,I would like to express my immense gratitude for starting such an informative site for aspiring US students.
I suneetha completed b.pharmacy in may2008 and having 1.2 yrs of experience and I intend to pursue PharmD degree in the United States.I have learnt that PharmD program requires PCAT as a mandatory test to be taken for admission.I contacted the admissions department of few Universities and I was told that I may be asked to complete a few prerequisites before admittance to the PharmD program. My queries are:

(1)Is PCAT available in India? If no, how can I take the test then?

(2 Should I apply for the prerequisites separately without applying for the actual program or should I apply for both?

(3)Will I be issued the I20 with regard to prerequisites only?

(4)If not getting admission in u.s some indian universities are conducting pharmdpostbaccularate after completion of the course can i eligible directly write licensing exam .

I will be in immense gratitude in my queries are answered.

Thank you,
suneetha
