Universities and Colleges in U.S. are expensive unless students get some form of scholarship and financial aid. For international students it will be very expensive, since they have to pay out of state tuition fees.

Also, note that face how tuition fees have increased over last 1 year. Some colleges have fees raised by 8%, which is huge.
When I started Masters degree, for first semester I paid around $4,100 out of state fees, including tuition, health insurance and other fees. But, during last semester, I paid around $5,500. That’s $1400 increase in 2 years.
Some students try to take less expensive student health insurance, since health coverage benefits provided by the college will be around $500 to $600 per semester and outside you can purchase for $30 per month. Some universities require students to have health insurance provided by the school and its will be mandatory.

University of Washington is still more costlier.
Out state fee is $7,710 a semester.
Instate fee is $2,280.
This Washington state doesn’t have residential fee.
After marriage if a wife stays in that state for 1 year they could enjoy this residential fee.
but only in Washington state its like this.
George Washington University is lot better.
I agree with the cost estimates. My son went to George Washington University (1998 – 2002). Having lived in the U.S. for 46 years (1960 – 2006), I have noticed the change is cost of living. My semester fee as a full-time student at Kansas State University was $154.00 classified as a in-state student because of cooperative arrangement with Osmania Univ. College of Agriculture.
I suggest students look into Sweden for Master’s and Ph.D. degrees as the quality of education is fine and reportedly there is no tuition fee for postgraduate studies. Bottom line, U.S. education at the right schhol is good, but it will be expensive.
