Multiple H1B Filing : Cleared

Last year there was no specific rules to regulate Multiple H1B Visa filings by the same employer or different employers to increase the chances of getting H1b Visa in the lottery system. But, this year it looks like the rule will allow employers to file Multiple H1B Visas to increase the chances of getting H1b Visa, if number of applications is more than 65,000 for General Quota and 20,000 for Master’s/Graduate Degree Quota. Bill Gates have requested for increase in H1B Visa and as the result The Innovation Employment Act and The SUSTAIN Act regulations were introduced last Thursday. It would take time for the bill to be law.
