@ Raghu…not a problem Raghu… oh! from my last post…i did get a job using linkedin….been working for about 7 months but the company is not willing to sponsor…so back to the drawing boards!!!

bottom line…linkedin works!!

Yes, it will help everyone. Professional networking is not just limited to US. Many professional in India are using LinkedIn.

One important aspect of LinkedIn success is the use of recommendations. Imagine if a recruiter sees that 50 people have recommended your skills? It packs a punch. But before you go around asking for them, spend some time giving them, and begin with the people who would most appreciate your recommendation. @Preetham: I’m working on new e-book and few other articles. As you know, its hard to write more than 1 article per day and I have lots of topics I need to cover. I initially started this blog to write only about Graduate School admission, but now its spread into various areas ( GRE – Visa – Jobs – H1B). So, i’m trying to cover all the aspects.

First of all, job well done with regard to the new look at happyschools…. the site looks much more presentable.

Secondly, I’d really appreciate any more tips and ideas on general job hunting, or updates on LinkedIn job hunting…

I’m a student graduated last December with a Masters in Management and have unfortunately been struck with a consulting firm, still on OPT…:-(

Any tips w.r.t jobs would be of valuable help anytime…
