    2) I heard that the unemployment is low in germany it may be around 1 % ….What is the scope for a student to get a job after he/she is done with his/her masters ? What are the factors that are included while recruiting concerned person ?

    3) Does Professor’s shows discrimination towards Indian students ?

  8. Hi. Please give information about PhD in Germany. Specially PhD in interdisciplinary Electronic and Nanotechnology with Robotics. And how the PhD program is from starting to end in Germany?

  9. Hello Mr. HSB,
Thanks for the above initiative by you. I am particularly interested in Germany for my MS.
I have cleared the A1 proficiency test from Goethe Institut and also IELTS. Have applied to a couple of universities (MS in various streams of Mech. Engg) and also applying to few more in coming days… One thing I would like to draw your attention on is that some universities in Germany want the final degree before their deadlines, which makes it impossible for final year students to apply. I already have got a couple of rejections from some B level universities over there since they said that they dont acknolwedge provisional degree and want the final one before 31 May!!! WTF? Most of the universities in India wont get their exams even done in May!!!!

  24. 1. I would like to know about the reputation of Technische Universitat Bergakademie Freiberg for MS in Computational Material Science.

    2. How easy/ difficult is it to get a student job there?

    3. Which universities are offering MS in Automation Engineering in English?

    • @ Shweta- TUB-Freiberg is one of the best places to study Material Science in Germany… Its a place which is quite famous for its mining culture in the past and now most of the mines are for student and research purpose. Moreover its a TU… If its a TU in Germany, it is in the big league there.. although not as great as Aachen-Munich-Dresden but its good. If you havent applied it, then I think the deadline is already over.
      Good luck!!!!

    • @Freiberg is a good university is what I heard. And getting student jobs within the campus should be easy given that your interest and some of the prof’s interest are in the same field. (Most of my friends in Germany have an assistantship)

I too want to know about TU Freiberg as I have got an admission into CMS. I would also like to know about Ruhr-Bochum (Computational Engineering). And a detailed information about these two uni would be good…

Another question is, can I accept Freiberg admission now and then when I get an admission from Ruhr can I accept Ruhr and rejecct Freiberg or is it like once you accept an uni’s admission you wont get another admission. This part is killing me.

      • @Rahul- Hi buddy, if you dont mind, can you please tell me when did you receive the offer from the university TUB-Freiberg? I have also applied there but they say that they will communicate about the results by the end of this week. I am not sure what’s their procedure? do they evaluate all together or first-come-first serve basis? besides I think they give only one week to decide to accept/decline the offer…!!!!!!

        • I recieved the Post on14th May. They have given me till the end of may to accept the offer. Sorry, I too dont know the procedure for the selection. Keep communicating with them through e-mail, they will be more than happy to respond.

        • @A – I recieved the letter of admission on 14th May and they told me that I have till the end of may to accept or decline the offer. Sorry, I too dont kno the selection procedure.

        • @Rahul-Thanks buddy for the info. I think too that they will tell me by this week… Not expecting much but still ya an offer from TUB would be a good one… They really are very helpful in replying and other details!!!! Thanks again!!!
