Low H1B Numbers

H-1B Cap count is being filed at constant pace. About 1000 applications per week. With US Economy still recovering, its expensive for employers to hire H1B workers due to increased cost associated with filing an H1 Application. Also, due to high unemployment rate, there are many US workers available for the job.

H1B petition submitted should be for job that require unique skills and only of employer is unable to find US worker. We will be posting updates on H1B 2011 Cap count, when USCIS publishes them weekly.

If you are located outside USA and received your H1B Visa approval, then consult with your employer on when to apply for H1B visa stamping.
