    I have just completed my B tech. in Chemical Engg. with 70% aggregate and currently i am doing job from past 3 months.I am going to apply for sept. 2011 sessions in USA universities and planning to give GRE somewhere around in April 2011.IS it possible or should i give GRE before April?

    I also have a Green Card so do i need to give TOEFFL and also plz suggest me some good univ. for Master in Chemical Engg. ?

    hi everyone,

    i want to pursue masters in Mechanical Engineering in USA or Canada for fall 2011. my Toefl(iBT) Score is 98 and my CGPA is 3.68(out of 4.00). i am going to appear in Gre test on 21st october,2010 and expect a score of around 1320-1360. i will graduate by December 2010.So, naturally i have to apply for masters before my graduation.

    Now, i am quite confused about which universities to apply. Is it necessary to apply early to get funding?

    please suggest me a list of fair universities that i have high chance of acceptance.

    Hi,

    I am very happy to join Happy school blog. I could understand lots of things in general. However most of these are either related to Computer Science, Chemical Tech, PT, and towards science and technology. I am applying for PhD/MS for Peace studies , Conflict Analysis and Resolution (PCR) for fall 2011. My final list contains 3 universities, George Mason Virginia, Nova Southeastern Univ, florida, Kennesaw state Univ Georgia. Eventhough George mason and Kennesaw do not require GRE (they have informed me). I am appearing for GRE . My academic credintials are very good plus I have one year research experience which in some way is related to PCR. I have done MA in History and topped the University. Through your blog may I request if someone could guide me or refer me to those who have studied or currently studying in the areas of PCR. Thanks and Regards

    can i get a good university for MBA in US or UK or I should go to write GMAT.

    My GRE score is low 920 (Q-600, V-320) AWA-2.5

    I have applied to NYIT, Texas A&M, UMASS, University of Colorado. Please suggest me some better university then these. Also, tell me what are my chances to go to US with this score.

      hi Hemal,

      Your GRE Score is average, especially your Quantitative is low, can you pls give me complete information about ur scores like TOEFL, Acads with Backlogs etc and your Major also so that we can suggest u universities. no one can suggest you universities only based on your GRE at all.

        12th-69%
        I had 4 backlogs. My B.E. (E&C) Aggregate is 68.9%. I would like to go for Ms Electrical Engineering, in wireless or telecommunications domain. MY TOEFL score is yet to come. And also tell me what is memo for backlogs, I came accross this word in certain visa interview.

    hi ,

    I have less in my 10 th standard ,will it hamper in getting into a good college?

    1) BE agg : 69.78% . Here i have a question , will they take aggregate of all 8 sem or your scores in the last 2 years ? My scores from 5 th sem to 8 th sem was continuously increasing, so my max score is in 8 th sem.

    2)I have 59.8% in 10 th i.e 299/500. is this too bad?

    I have studied in cbse syllabus where if i have a scout certificate they will add 4 marks .So my score is 303/500 =60.6% is this of any help?

    3)My 12 th percentage is 74.

    gre is still in the process.Now what are my chances?

    I have given GRE : 1420(640+780). I have done my engineering in CSE from Tier 1 college in India. Also I ll have a work exp of 2 yr working in a leading consulting company. I want to apply for MS in management courses(1yr). Can you tell some best univs in US and Europe?

I have already made small plane and compressed air engine in my school time. I have participated in 3 robotics competetions. And have a plan of transformer humanoid robot within my undergraduate.

    Then can I apply for robotics in masters in usa or canadian universities. If yes then what is the crieteria in gre and others. If not then it's ok.

    Can I get scholarship nearly full.Or can I get any kind of financial help,like sponsorship,assistantship,etc.

    Please any body have a good suggestions
