Hi HSB! I am just about to give my gre and looking for Canadian universities. My overall graduation and post-grad score is 75.6% . I would be applying for masters in Biochemistry and expecting a score of 330 and above in my gre. Is it mandatory for me to get a research publication or my gre score would serve the purpose….please help me out…i am just in a fix…

I am a social science student. I did my Masters in Economics. HSB is really a good site that helps desperate students by giving reliable information, however I have to be bold enough to say that it really confounds the needs of Arts students. The courses and the Information on Universities hardly deal with subjects as economics or english. The students from Science Background are really benifiting from the blogs and the information u give, but students like me have a sense of stepmotherly treatment.

use google!!! All univs have the dates clearly listed in the graduate section. Anyway, most univs in US have deadlines in december, however a few have till Jan5 or so. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait till then: its better the sooner you apply. And honestly, you should have started contacting professors way back! Fire upon it now!!
