Hello! I have a problem with my receipt number given by my employer. Every time I check my status online it says “Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again.” I emailed my employer regarding this, and she told me that it’s natural bec. some of the applications are not updated in the USCIS online. I’m wondering with her responsed, she said the company filed my application April 1, 2009 but still no update. Anyone here has the same problem with me? thanks!

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) National Benefits Center (NBC) Liaison Committee has identified that there is a problem with the interface tool for the “Case Status Online.” Not only has this problem caused much delay in the recording of new receipt numbers in the system, it has hampered the updating of status information for those cases already in the online system. The Liaison Committee stated that the issue was not limited to NBC filings, and that the problem has been recurring. The NBC Liaison Committee did not provide a time estimate of when they expected the interface to be fixed.

Hello Friends,
My H1B New Petetion was filed, by my Employer on May 13th. But still, my case status in USCIS is “Case Not Found. Check your receipt Number”. But, my employer is confirming that, the Receipt number is correect, which is sent by USCIS.
Am very much worried, for my status not getting reflected with the status, not knowing whom to contact Exactly.

i am also in the same situation, I got receipt number around Mid may but the online status still says ‘case not found’. did you ask your emplyer or lawyer to contact USCIS to find the status? There is nothing worry, its just another softwate with bugs
Is there anyone whose case status is still not found in USCIS case status online?
I have received my receipt on 4th may but my status is still not found.

I have recieved the same notice now for almost a month (Since Jun 1, 2009). No update or change yet.

Hi everyone just wanted to share a piece of goodnews…I checked my case online status and it is now updated…”APPROVAL NOTICE SENT”.

I had the same status in the website till yesterday night, just now checked the uscis website, it has been updated as”Approval notice sent”.
